However, many dance teachers and studio owners were trained as dancers not as educators or leaders.

They are often left alone to navigate teaching, leadership, and decision-making without the pedagogical tools, reflective space, or professional support they truly deserve.

Teachers of Dance was created to change that.

We exist to support dance educators in becoming not only skilled instructors, but thoughtful teachers, reflective practitioners, and confident leaders — capable of building learning environments where both students and teachers thrive.

Because when teachers grow, students grow and dance becomes the education it was always meant to be.
